http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3359187/Nexxus-V2-0-Bluetooth-USB-Dongle-With-IVT-Software/Product.html

I just installed it but cant seem to connect. I have the O2 (my isp) software already installed and am using laptop via wireless.

What mobile phone are you using to connect to the internet?

Is your mobile phone paired to your laptop?

I think you will find that this is mainly for transferring images, files, ringtones etc from your PC to your mobile and vice versa. It is not as far as I understand it for accessing the internet.

That first reviewer probably had it hooked up to a wireless router somehow using the bluetooth instead of a wireless network card in his laptop.

This page shows the normal bluetooth dongle and the internet access dongles, two totally different types of USB dongles.

Where do mobile phones come into this?

o2 is a standalone ISP, regardless of what network your mobile uses.

First thing is uninstall the o2 software - you don't need it.

I do apologise I may have misunderstood the question. I have in the past connected a HP PDA to the internet using my mobile phone through infra-red, although to be honest at a complete crawl. I assumed the OP wanted to do the same thing but connecting the PC to the phone using bluetooth. I simply asked what type of mobile phone was being used to help with the settings.

I think my question was misunderstood. I bought it wanting to link up my pc with the wireless router. Anyone know the right thing I need to do this :S ? I am using a standard O2 router.
