The Sainsbury's in St Albans has very cheap (9p!) Hipp organic toddler meals. Don't know if this is in all stores.0

Lidl has started selling branded baby food and rusks. Their prices are cheaper than anywhere else.2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0

Have you thought about making your own, I'm no Delia but I have made my own food for all 3 of my children, it is cheaper, you make how much you need, it is always on hand AND you know what goes in it, a lot of timmed/jarred food is over processed and teaches children to like bland food.
The only thing I buy is the fruit purees for the occasional deesert when we are out, I did notice Tesco had the Cow and Gate 4 packs on buy 1 get one half price

Sorry I forgot to say, I usually to make my own at home but we are going France over the bank holidays so thought it would be easier. I like to buy the jars for travelling.
I do however always buy the fruit jars for my dauhters dessert.:j BABY A :j0 -
Packets of dried food can be good for travelling if you can take a vacuum flask. If baby not yet eating whole jar, you can mix what you need, not waste it, and do more if baby hungry. But it's a while since I was at this stage so I don't know what's available for the different ages!Signature removed for peace of mind0

You can't beat good old mashed banana, comes ready wrapped, ready to eat, mash it smooth and then lumpier as baby gets teeth. I added banana to ready brek, custard, sandwhiches as got older.Panda xx
