New Merlin Pass Tesco clubcard.

Hi,
You may recall a thread on here a while ago saying to order Tesco clubcard annual passes before the price went up,as they now include Legoland etc.
I phoned clubcard first to make sure that if I ordered them before the new brochure that they would honour the new passes,they said yes.
Went to Warwick Castle yesterday and were told that they should say"New Merlin Pass" on the voucher and that these ones were only valid for the original annual pass!Not very happy with Tesco now as we had 4 passes.Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Hi - I had something similar happen to me. I checked with Clubcard that their Futuroscope vouchers were valid for around the Xmas period 07, not just from the new season starting Feb 08 which is what it said on their website. The customer services adviser actually checked with a colleague and confirmed that yes they would be fine to use then. On this basis, I went ahead and ordered the vouchers for the 5 of us for 2 days on park, and meanwhile booked our ferry, hotels etc. However, when I received the vouchers they stated they were only valid from Feb 08! This meant we had to change all our plans and book a combined hotel/park deal to fit in with the ferry dates, instead of going independently which is what we had intended to do. Luckily, I had spotted the dates in time otherwise we could have got to the park and ended up paying full price which would have been a fortune!

My sympathies are with you - we've had loads of great days out etc. with Tesco but it's really annoying for this to happen!
