DLA not paid since 4th feb

My husband has not had his DLA since the 4th of feb.

This seems to be about the time that we got notice and won his DLA care appeal.

It seems that the IB/DLA payments are being split again. And we have been given the line well we need to find out what as been paid by IB as it was all lumped together

So since the start of the year he has not been getting care rate at all and since the start of feb neither care or mobility.

Anyone else having problems. As I feel this is now taking the mick. We have been told that if we have heard nothing by the end of the week coming to contact them on a 0845 number. Which is not covered by our free calls on our mobiles

I personally feel that it is time to make a complaint. I even said to my husband to even make the suggestion that he will contacting his MP about this (no idea who that is though :rotfl:)

This not a moan about the people working the DWP as I know they are doing their best but the rubbish system they have in place.

Yours

Don't take any messing off them, pass it straight on to your M.P., regardless of working out the back payment owed to him, this has no effect whatsoever on his current payments due.

Don't waste your time with your MP or complaining.
The quickest way to get the arrears is simply to ask the DLA unit on 08457 123456 when you'll be paid. Just explain that you are desparate.

Thanks but is the number my husband has been ringing and asking when he will get paid.

And they tell him that they are waiting for IB to tell them when the last payment date for DLA was made.

My husband has spoken to them the moment he mentions DLA they say it has nothing to do with them and tell him to talk to DLA.

DLA then say they are waiting to hear from IB. So he is going around in circles. The stress of dealing with it is not doing him any good.

All he wants is what he is entitled to.

Ring the IB section again at your JCP Benefit centre and ask
    1) When was the IB & DLA were paid up to?
    2) When did the IB section tell the DLA section when the DLA was paid up to?
Now ring the DLA section and tell them the answers to 1) & 2).

Again, remind both sections that you are dseparate.

    1) When was the IB & DLA were paid up to? IB is still being paid.
    2) When did the IB section tell the DLA section when the DLA was paid up to?
Now ring the DLA section and tell them the answers to 1) & 2). IB have not told DLA when it was paid up to that is why no DLA. Does not work like that it has to come from the IB section. Even an E-mail from IB to DLA was not good enough so we have been told. So they are not going to take our word for it.

Again, remind both sections that you are dseparate.

    See my replies above.

I will get hubby to ring IB to chivvy them up.

  • When I had a problem with DLA I contacted Welfare Rights at my local council and they had it sorted within a few days. Their phone number is usually under the local council listing in the phone book or the numbers section on the web site. :)
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
