Lcd monitor question

Hi, I'm a total tecchie dunce so would appreciate some help from you guys:D
Basically I want to to be able to watch dvds in my bedroom, I don't care about tv so basically can i use an lcd monitor hooked to a dvd player.
Also do they sell any monitors with a built in dvd, looking for at least 19", are there any bargains.
Otherwise I'm thinking of this one but i know bush are not great and the telly will not get used as I have no aerial as reception is so bad round here I have to have cable.....with codes this tv comes to £150
So looking for around that price...thanks in advance

If your dvd player has a scart connection at the back, that should be fine. At the moment, 19" LCD TV/DVD combos go for around £220.
You might want to have a look at this samsung for £129, its reburbished, but has a 3 year limited warranty0
