Nationwide telephone self service - FlexAccount customers

Just tried this new service. You register online [or over the phone] and they issue you with a 6 digit PIN [not the same as the one used when signing on] through the post.
You call 08457 302016 [there's also a 'from abroard' NG number which allows low/no cost calling to this, but I won't give it here as you'll have to be a customer and register to use it in any case] and enter your nornal 10 digit customer number followed by selected digits from the PIN
It works on voice recognition.
You can get the balance on your FlexAccount, hear the last six transactions, and transfer money TO other Nationwide accounts you hold. [NOTE you cannot transfer money FROM them TO your FlexAccount unfortunately]. You can also pay a bill using a pre-existing Bill Payment mandate [Hopefully this will allow future dated payments, but I haven't checked that out yet]
Anyway, a nice little feature if you can't get to a cash machine [say] and need to make a Bill Payment in an emergency [and can memorise both their number and your new PIN!] away from the internet. Internal transfers are also handy provided you keep enough cash in the account to do this.
It's intended to be available 24 hours a day...
