Promax Plasma tv- do you know this brand?

wonder if you could advice or enlighten ...
i've been looking around for a 42' plasma or LCD and saw this on Empire direct but i've never heard of this manufacturer (PROMAX) and can't really find info on them.. do anybody know if any good? or sub-from top brand?:confused:

    aparently they use Samsung components....just found that on direct tvs? can anybody confirm?
    i'm not that bothered to have the name in front of tv if i can save quite a bit!!

  • Just because they use samsung components doesn't mean they will be any good. There is usually a reason why more expensive TV's are more expensive and it's not just generally for the name. Don't make a false economy of this, especially if you've never seen the tv in action
