Abbey Fraud - Please Help!

In January I had over £3600 taken out of my account, loads of fraudulent transactions, air tickets, food, even a water bill!
I have rang them, made a complaint, reported them to the FSO, emailed the CEO, and still nothing. I have received one letter, which related to three of the transactions, which came to just over £100.
I am a single parent, and things are now desperate. Does anyone please have any ideas?

I can't suggest anything other of the normal routes you have already taken however since it looks like Abbey are just not interested I'd suggest drastic action. Contact your local newspaper and see if they will do a story on it. Even better, make up a sign and stand with it outside your Abbey branch. This may well attract local media coverage. Abbey are quite happy to string customers along and ignore complaints for as long as they can get away with it but they will react to adverse publicity.
Good luck in whatever action you decide to take.0 -
Let me get this right, You have made one phone call, sent an email & one letter about your missing £3,600 and received one letter back about £100 since January???? and it's now the middle of March !!!!!
Do you not think it might be a good idea to contact them again, by letter, phone, email or even in person. If that was my money, I would be jumping up and down till someone sorted this out. Forget the papers - you will be laughed all the way home - if you can't be bothered about it, why should Abbey.I am a Mortgage Adviser
