I love this thread :T
It makes me feel normal
My parents hardly ever come to my flat, my Dad has been here once in Jan and before that the November before last and I had to tell him to leave he was moaning that I hadn't hoovered behind my tv
My freezer has so much ice in it that I was struggling to defrost it, I went away for the weekend and turned it off and left towels on the floor to mop up the drips, I came back and NONE of it had meltedLittle Miss Sparkles :A

hi everyone, ive just found this thread and it made me smile!:D im not alone ha ha!
my life is ruled by piles of stuff!
ive just this weekend cleared the stairs aka things that need to go up.... or things that need to come down.... or things that im not sure if they are going up or down!
mail that comes through the door..... a pile of envelopes..... a pile to shred that has confidential information on.....a pile to file away...... a pile of takeaway menus that i never knew i lived near so many...... my shredder needs emptying daily and is hatching a plan on how to go on strike from being overworked......
recycling now has made more piles of stuff..... 400 trips a day out to the huge unattractive coloured bins that have consumed my garden .....its nearly finished me off, not to mention the handle on my front door from overuse! i now have two unattractive bin things in my kitchen to collect the recycling in, to limit the visits to the row of bins outside..... not to mention the dilemma of what bin does this go in!!!
one recent dilemma was ok ive shredded everything..... what do i put it in, to put it in the paper bin?
i live in eternal fear that im going to disappear under piles of stuff!!:eek:Sealed Pot Member 1269VSP... TO UPDATE!

This is a brilliant thread, cheered me up this morning after feeling a bit bruised by 3 batches of bad news in the last 24 hours.
Hubby works odd, late hours, and often picks up whoopsies on the way home for us and a friend who can't get out much due to disability.
I try to make sure he has shopping bags in the car but he often forgets to take them into Mr T's. Last week he 'lost' a wedge of cheese somewhere, it was discovered a few days later in the middle of a presentation in his laptop bag!No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0 -
Actually did some washing up yesterday - previous to that none done for about 6 weeks. (do rinse to avoid smells, mould etc) Had to as finally ran out of plates! Still have some pans etc to tackle.
Our shredded paper gets recycled in the garden waste container (not the paper and cardboard container)0 -

Have to say :O How many plates do you have???We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

I'm most disappointed to discover that the 'jug and bag combo' for milk from Sainsbury's isn't actually cheaper than 6pint bottles
So I bought a 90p chocolate fudge cake for pudding.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

I keep using the same old frying pan, that everything sticks to and burns because I keep forgetting to buy a new one
the pasta bake dish has been "soaking" in the sink for 2 days
my ironing pile is going to fall off the chair if I put anything else on it
My laundry basket is never empty, there's about 10 things I never wear, don't want to wash, and should just bin :rotfl:
My spare room is meant to be my dressing room, instead it's turned into a junk room. I'm selling 100 books on Amazon, and they're all in boxes in there, my clothes go on the bed until I wear them, and god help anyone who wants to stay over
Just read this thread back and a quick update what 3 months later? :rotfl:
the pasta bake dish has gone
the ironing pile is done
Last week I FINALLY binned that stupid frying pan and bought a new one
and the less mentioned about the spare room the better :rotfl:
update what, a year later....
I smashed the pasta bake dish and had to go and have a piece of Pyrex removed from my eye
the ironing pile is back - and in the spare room
I finally binned the laundry basket, and the clothes that were doing nothing
However - the car looks like the inside of a stable, but my stables are cleaner
And I have lost a brand new block of cheese, which is a big mystery. I fear it may be festering in the car............
Absolutely brilliant post with the updatesMade me :rotfl:
re the cheese - I have recently lost (in 2 separate shopping trips) one pack of Trex, One of lard and One butter :eek::eek::eek:
HOW???
If they are in the car (under the seat height pile of carp in the front passenger side) they are gonna melt once it warms up so I'm gonna have to either clear it out, or sell it on "Sold as Seen" :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Does anybody dare to post up pics of their horrors from this thread?0
