Changing passwords

How often does everyone change theyre passowrds for email account, ebay account etc,

I've never changed my email account password.

I've had the same ebay password for years.

I have 3 passwords: One easy one for forums like this, one slightly more complex for logins on websites I buy from, and then one extra secure one for things like ebay and paypal. I never change them, because I don't feel the need.

If they are strong enough in the first place, and you're careful, you shouldn't have to.

It all depends on how and where you use a computer I suppose.

one of the passwords i use isnt easy to guess in my opinion, you would have to know various details about me to know what the password is

Ah well there's something I won't do.

My passwords would be part of an old piece of information, like an old friends name backwards for example, and then a random set of numbers afterwards, and the text part would have capitals and lower case letters in it.

I wouldn't advise having passwords with current information relating to yourself. Unless it's made very secure.
