in Credit cards
Have received a charge on the 20th on my CC from Moneybookers, who I had never heard of, and as it is in Euros, 59.99 euros in fact, also a foreign exchange fee from the CC company.
Pretty sure I have not made a Euro purchase lately so rang CC for details, but they had none. Now I have to ring "disputes" who are of course closed until Tuesday. Girl said it may not be fraud but only a mis-keying by a merchant.
It is only 2 months since there was attempted fraud on my card (from Italy), but the CC picked this up. Had to wait 10 days for new cards last time. Going away on a long trip soon and will be unable to check things on-line, so really worried.
Has anyone had a problem with Moneybookers? Did a quick search and there are a lot of references to on-line gambling coming up!

This sounds like a fraudulent transaction - I would raise a formal dispute on the transaction with your Bank to investiagte fully.0

Having thought about it a bit, I rang them back and they could now tell me it was "on line betting" !! The card is now cancelled. Just wondering how someone got my card number. Second time in 2 months too.
The person I spoke to the second time was surprised it had gone through as it is outside the range of our usual purchases.
Still got to ring back on Tuesday and dispute it.0
