How do I save web-pages (inc. animations, videos...)?

Hi,
What program(s) do I need to save a web-page, to view at any time in the future, e.g. if the page is on-line for only a short period of time?
Can I save pages exactly as they appear when I visit them on-line, including all the animations and videos? Can I save a series of pages, all linked together as they would be on-line?
Thanks for any help.

Make sure the page you want to save is currently displayed in your browser. Then go to your browser's "File" menu and select "Save As." Choose a place on your hard disk (such as a certain folder or your Desktop) where you would like to save the page and click "OK" or "Save."Your tax bill is the penalty you pay for not helping the right candidates get into office.:D0

Unfortunately it will tend to depend upon the media being made available to you through the web page.
For example, if the video is being streamed to you in real time then it is unlikely that you will be able to save a 'working' page to your local hard drive. Also, if a Flash object requires, e.g., a db call to the website back end, then it will probably not work locally.

Software applications that help you achieve this tend to be called 'offline browsers'. http://www.httrack.com/ is an example of a free 'offline browser'.0 -
If you want to save several pages or the entire site then you need something like this http://www.httrack.com/"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
