I bought an Olympus C50-zoom about four years ago and always have been really pleased with the quality of the pictures.
I managed to buy a 1gb XD card from PC World for £8 due to a price match from play.com, however, the C-50 firmware didnt recognise the 1gb card and showed an error, I rang the Olympus customer service centre in Swindon who explained the camera needed its software updating and for me to post it to them.
I sent the camera and just over a week later recieved it back with the latest upgrade, plus they have replaced the front cover and shutter ? the camera cost just over £500 when I bought it, and was three years out of warranty.
I am well chuffed with Olympus and their level of customer service which didnt cost me a penny, plus they have given me a 6 month warranty on the camera
Thanks Olympus.
