large ebay parcel?

hi,
just need some advice on how to pack or send a large parcel.

i sold a commercial roofrack on ebay which is still flatpacked in its packaging,but it is in 3 separate parcels.

now do i bundle all 3 items together which will mean the item would be very heavy,or label each and send 3 parcels to the same address?will i be charged 3 times though?

also do parcelforce or royalmail take items this heavy/6ft long?
any advice please,

  • Weigh them individually, then see from there. Sometimes it's cheaper to send seperate than together. Have a look on Royal Mail website for prices.

    I try and avoid sending big items through the post! I have a really heavy rocking horse I want to get rid of!! it will cost loads!

  • I would try local haulers, do you have a Dale Express local, try thomson local under delivery services. I sent 24 lb mountain bike from london to southampton for approx £20. Took 2 days from dropping off at the depot.

    ur best bet is to try a courier company like interparcel .They let u deliver multiple parcels as one delivery ( 30kg for about £8/10)and most allow packages up to 3m in length. 24/48 hrs delivery with insurance for £9 isnt bad.They even come and collect it.

    i did have quotes ove £100 though elseware

    I need to post a 48kg treadmill to someone in the UK, but parcleforce say its too much, i also dont have a box for it so wonder how im going to deal with it!Help
