Fakes are way more common than you think and they're from all manufacturers. This is because most of the actual headsets are made by only a few factories, so they can always sell the shells on (without the high quality circuitry) re-badged. Happens all the time. When I was in Dubai on 2006 I saw this first hand. I've also bought a bluetooth headset from a VERY reputable online retailer that specializes in mobile equipment and found that to be fake as well, although I was able to work that one out for myself (I work in the mobile industry). Don't think that just because a company has a good reputation that they can't be tricked themselves by fraudsters. Unless you know specifically what to look for, anyone can be conned when it comes to electronics.

I spent ages looking before I got this one and I decided it was the best deal out there - sound quality is very good and it feels very well made.

The desktop charger is particularly stylish and I like being able to charge it using USB as well as plugging it in.
