  • An excellent headset.. for a GREAT price.

I got this at xmas after by previous Jabra 250 broke..

This headset is small, ultra lightweight and last for days and days! Excellent car charger and desktop charger (i mainly use car charger).

RRP is £99.99 so, for this price, its amazing!!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I bought one of these last Nov from an online retialer in the UK (not Play) for about £22. It turned out to be a fake but it was only after returning it to Jabra for service under warranty that we found out. The fakes are VERY good copies. I quote from an e-mail from Jabra support (who are excellent btw)......

"I understand your concern. It is actually more and more difficult to
distinguish original to fake units. Some time ago, when you removed the
rubber ear ring you would see reference numbers and production code on
original ones and nothing on the counterfeits, but now even fake JX10 have
    these numbers.

I am attaching you a document realised by GN Netcom, it may help you to
recognise the good ones. My advice in this case is to check the price and
make sure the retailer is reliable. As a matter of fact the JX10 is the
most expensive headset Jabra offers: it is around 150 Euros, or £60. So,
if you see a JX10 for £20 I would say it is kind of suspicious."

I got a full refund from the retailer, and subsequently bought a genuine one. It really is an excellent headset, though if it doesn't fit your ear some people say it's uncomfortable as there isn't much scope for adjustment.

Go Google for "jabra fake jx10" and you will get a lot of hits with useful info. For example.

If you buy one and the worst comes to the worst, you will probably get a prompt refund and apology off 'Play', but eBay buyers may not be so lucky.

    Hope this helps.

In my experience Play are very good, no fakes, all items are the real deal and their customer service / returns are superb! Ebay is another story. All the memory stick for PSP I've got from Ebay have been fake all the Memory sticks from Play have been real. I'm sure this is the real deal from Play.

Yes, I bought a JX10 from Play about 6 weeks ago - it is Series II and works a dream. Battery life is excellent and it has connected with everything I've thrown at it!
