Hi All,
I know you can get 50 pounds if you open an account with A&L
The only problem is I dont know anyone who is with A&L.
Does that mean I miss out on the offer?
Thanks

Hi there,
I'd be happy to be your friend, but in true MSE style, I feel obliged to let you know that you are actually better off signing up through quidco.
If you go through Quidco, you can get £50, whereas a friend and you get to split the £50. It used to be that you could get both, but the system has changed and they don't do this anymore.
BOOOOO
Good luck! Feel free to PM if you need details about Quidco, or just have a look around the boards .. we're all big Quidco fans here.

Thanks Guys,
Just went through Quidco and will need to wait about 2 months for the money
This was one of the only reasons to go through them0 -
!!!!! I ve just realized that I did not clear out cookies on my machine before applying !!!!!
HELPPlease read the following before proceeding:
Should track as two amounts, one at 0.00 and one at the full amount that should appear two or three months later.
***It is very important to clear your cookies before proceeding through this link, as if you have visited A&L first through another site they will be credited with the commission (having been the first to refer you). If you have gone directly to the A&L site they will place their own cookie on your computer and will not allow the quidco cookie to track.
Quidco accounts must be used on a one to one basis so we will not be able to support multiple enquiries per account, as we want to do our best to direct genuine new account holders their way.0 -
Should I be worried ?
I am0 -
Had u been on the a&l site prior to your application? if so, u might not get the £50. i think u'll have to wait and see0

Yes I was on the A&L site before
I ve never used Quidco before - Are they understanding to things like this?
Can they contact A&L and say : Look at this guy who applied?0 -
Has the A&L transaction tracked on your account? If it is showing at all (even as zero) you should be OK.
If not, it could be
Last resort is to file a missing transaction report, but you can't do this for 14 days.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you,

Hmm- I think you need to wait before the tracking takes place?
I Have never used Quidco before so do not know0 -
In my experience, most of the transactions on Quidco track within 24-48 hours, but give it a week or so.
I suppose it's Easter as well, so there might be a delay there as well.
Does it say anything on your account?
