Finances after having a baby

My wife has just found out that that she's pregnant and due at the end of October!
We have been discussing our finance options when the baby is born.
My wife currently earns £13,500 a year in a job that's not really that good (her words, not mine!), and she has no desire or incentive to return after the end of her maternity leave. If she does return to work, we would need to pay for childcare, and would probably be worse off.
I earn £21,000 a year. If my wife doesn't return to work after the end of her maternity leave, what grants/benefits would we be entitled to?
Thanks in advance for any replies!

You would get child tax credits and child benefit.
Not sure about anything else but I think this may be all you would be able to claim.0 -
On £21k you'll probably only qualify for basic tax credits of £42 a month (extra £50 until baby reaches one) and FA of £18 a week.0
