MSCONFIG oddity

Hi all
I've just uninstalled a load of programs that used to deal with malware,AV, etc and I've installed Norton 360 (no laughing please!)

Now, in MSCONFIG, there are still most of the programs I've uninstalled but without ticks (obviously).
Anyone any ideas why they are still there, and how I can get rid of them?
Can someone also recommend a good registry cleaner - I've already got Ccleaner installed, but I'm looking for some other options.

Backup Your Registry with ERUNT

• Please use the following link and scroll down to ERUNT and download it.

• For version with the Installer:
  Use the setup program to install ERUNT on your computer
• For the zipped version:
  Unzip all the files into a folder of your choice.

Click Erunt.exe to backup your registry to the folder of your choice.

Note: to restore your registry, go to the folder and start ERDNT.exe

I had the same problem and used this.

It's a small freeware utility called MSConfig Cleanup (you can google it) which just cleans out the unticked items.

Just to continue this thread, can someone recommend an all-in-one AV/Firewall/Malware program?
I'd prefer just one program for ease of use.
Anyone any suggestions?

Kaspersky Internet security suite . Free 60 day trial .
I dont need to pay for security software and choose to purchase this as permanent protection
Forgot Aria.co.uk doing oem copy for about £12 .

Just to save starting a new thread and to resurrect an old one, I've been looking in MSCONFIG and found this entry :-
rundll32.exe o0630pin.dll,rundll32ep 513

Anyone any ideas what this is for?
I've Googled it and can't find anything on it.

Thanks for that - it looks like an essential file for the webcam.
Don't know why it loads on start-up though.
