had unexpected guests yesterday and the place was a mass of soggy hankies because I was feeling rotten (nothing smutty) - so felt I had to get off my butt and sort it out. as they were mates I'm sure they didn't care about the state of the place but I did! obviously noone will turn up unannounced for ages now...Mortgage OP 2026 £500/2000

LOL El!
Not showing off, honest. Just that I get grief from DH that I sit on the laptop all day...so I just started thinking about what I had actually done! I work full time so now days off are spent getting the house sorted. I get stressed when it's a tip-I dont mind it 'messy' but I hate it 'dirty' if you catch my drift...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Does your DH stress about it too Bunny? I love that quote - I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine marriage and a career.Mortgage OP 2026 £500/2000

One of the many things he has a go about me for on a daily basis. He can never understand WHY I would rather to chat to friends on here then watch any number of his stupid shows on tv-Biker Build Off, The New Yankee Workshop, any war movie in TV, Holmes on Homes etc. *yawn*
Bores me to tears.
Saying that, he does do loads around the house as well...and spends lots of time with the kids playing.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
