Has any tried scanning the book token without buying the book0

I printed the coupon off for my friend and I and took it to Tesco today. They accepted it - although did say they didnt take photocopies. I explain I got it online and they were ok with that.
Excellant freebie - many thanks!!!:j Bought all my presents for this year (birthday and Christmas) now starting on next years!!:j0 -
Meant to say they come out on the first Saturday of the month with usually about £4 off and then again the following Friday for about £3 off, but are always on the Daily Mail website too.0

so every month theres a coupon in the paper to get £4 off a book, if u claim it somewhere where the book is less than £4 you get it for free plus some cashback?0

My local Tesco now has a large note on all the tills telling check out staff not to take the Daily Mail book tokens, with a clear picture of this very one! I'd only use one or two a month, but they won't take them anymore.0

Yes, except usually it's for a hardback book, so £4 off a book that usually costs £9.99 or something. I think this is the first time it's been a paperback, which is why it's coming up free!0
