Last weeks threadGood afternoon lovely DFWs Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anything else. Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!! Moozie x

Aww PaP you're so sweet! I totally agree, everyone needs a treat now and again!postingalwaysposting wrote: »Oi you, 99p is fab especially on your second week :j You must remember to have a treat every now and again and if its a 99p magazine or a £3 choc bar you must have a treat ~ well done you! Good luck for the next week
Hi everyone - happy Easter! Well, I didn't end up going home this week (well, I was on the way home, but broke down on the M6Toll so never made it...) so I didn't spend as much as I thought I would luckily! My total for this week was £5.18 out of £19 budgeted so please can I be turned green? Thank you! I am going back home next weekend if I can get my car back, it's currently being fixed in Birmingham, near where I broke down, so I'd better budget £17 for unnecessary spends while Im there.this week, can I pledge £19? As Easter weekend is looming, I'm sure I'm not alone in having to spend a bit more money than usual. I also have to travel 190miles home so I'm sure there will be a couple of unnecessary spends this week.0 -

I didn't spend anything on incidental spends - and I found a tenner in an old handbag!!! That went on stamps (beating postal charges due to go up on April 1st)
Did buy some furniture though that was an in-the-budget spend so I hope it doesn't count.
Aim to keep the same fiver in my purse for another week.
