pap/moozies weekly challenge w/c 16th march ~ come and join in!

Welcome all... Coucou24.gif

I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday/Sunday. The challenge runs from Sunday to the Friday... Everyone welcome... Please don't worry if you have gone over budget and will be turned red it happens... to me more than anyone else. Have a great week drinks.gif

And a word from our sponser ~
Good afternoon lovely DFWs Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anything else. Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!! Moozie x

This week, can you put me down for £10? Thank you! xx
Hi PaP, from the £10 pledged, I spent £0.99p - so please can I be turned green please? If I'd had more self-control on Thursday night, and not bought a magazine, I would have spent nothing!

Anyway... this week, can I pledge £19? As Easter weekend is looming, I'm sure I'm not alone in having to spend a bit more money than usual. I also have to travel 190miles home so I'm sure there will be a couple of unnecessary spends this week.

    Hello pap and everyone

    I spent £38.79 of my £40 budget.

Not had a very good good week this week as had to fork out £70 for a dental bill then £25 for a loan phone until my contract one returns from repair . Not counted that in my budget though.

Could you put me down for £30 for this week please pap? Really need to cut down on things now and tighten my budget a little.

Oi you, 99p is fab especially on your second week :j You must remember to have a treat every now and again and if its a 99p magazine or a £3 choc bar you must have a treat ~ well done you! Good luck for the next week :D

Sorry hun must have missed it, haven't been coming on quite so regularly the past few weeks or so as i've been quite busy.

Fingers crossed i'll stick to my £30 budget this week , been trying to save more too and that £95 could have gone into savings instead .

Can I join in this week please? My target is £20. Need to cut right back again as I'm not quite on target with my debt repayments for July!

  • Hiya Hun, £8.31 so far this week... but my week runs Sunday to Saturday, and we haven't been out yet, so hold off on the green just yet!

I'm back in for my usual £10 for next week please

How do you guys do it? I can just about manage a NSD, let alone a no spend week . Things always seem to come up that I need to buy, be it a magazine, or some lunch.

Shockingly I didn't manage to stick to my budget, I lost count of how much i spent after Tuesday  i really must try harder. I probably spent around £30 this week - what on i don't know.

Pretty please put me down for £10 this week - need to save as much money as I can for my trip to Paris at the end of the month. Maybe if i just put £10 in my purse & when thats gone i must stop spending - hopefully that should work.

Does the budget start from tomorrow? hope so! Off out tonight for dinner - if it starts tonight i've blown my budget before i've even started.
