hayley, I only got a nsw because I had no money to spend. Also just going to and from work and not spending in the vendor helped. I think because we are all on different paths and we all have differing lifes its hard to judge yourself with someone else. If I had a house to run/children to occupy I would never have a nsd. But thats the joy of this thread, we all support each other and having a little motivation in the form of all here helps. Good Luck in your coming week :j

Oh dear pap, I went well and truly over budget (forgot it was DD's 14th birthday yesterday:o ) and so my £15 ended up at nearer £50!!!

This week I need petrol and I need to renew my train pass - will only get a weekly one as I'm on holiday the 2nd school holiday week, so I need to budget £50.

  • Hi PaP and everyone

ANOTHER red week for me £34.90 spent out of a budget of £20. had a bad week, feeling really low and when that happens the purse just pops open.

oh well, start of another week, will set budget at £30 please, should be able to manage that, as i'm working loads this week and have already bought all the easter eggs i need. so hopefully i'll come under that, but we'll see how it goes.

have a good, cheap week all

  • Spent £88.20 in the end last night  but with the £8.31 I'd already spent, that still keeps me in budget at £96.51...... Thats why I don't go out much!!! Had a good night tho, thats what counts, as I won't be doing it again for another year!

  • hi can I join in on this please? Although I have lots of bills / debts to people to pay back I would like to only spend £10 outside of that! The bills etc I take out at start of month then have the rest left to spend!!! I just can't seem to control spending over my ''expenses'' i.e. petrol lol! So £10 fingers crossed!!!! :)
