pap/moozies weekly challenge w/c 9th march 08

Welcome all... Coucou24.gif

I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday/Sunday. The challenge runs from Sunday to the Friday... Everyone welcome... Please don't worry if you have gone over budget and will be turned red it happens... to me more than anyone else. Have a great week drinks.gif

And a word from our sponser ~
Good afternoon lovely DFWs Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anything else. Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!! Moozie x

    Hi Pap

have to admit to spending £21.05 so slightly over my budget, thats a big fat red for me. (i took another £10 out of the bank so the remaining £8.95 now goes in my sealed tin and start afresh this week)

i actually set my weekly budget from mon - sat but it keeps me motivated to post on the daily thread and this weekly thread, so i will continue and set £20, have a busy few days coming up, out for lunch, tea and going to a concert this week, so will be desperately trying to keep it under £20.

    have a good week all

    Hiya Pap and everyone......

I managed to stay within my budget by a whole 4p this week! But within budget is within budget, so I happy to go GREEN

Please put me down for £100  this week, as OH wants us to go out for my birthday on Saturday (altho I'd much rather stay at home :o )
I *hope* we don't spend anywhere near that much, but I'll say £100 just in case

I think I will join in this week - hopefully this will stop me spending money I just don't have.

I think £10 will be enough to last the week, I have already paid for my travel for the week, and bought some bits for lunch, so starting today I won't need to buy anything else, oh apart from cinema on Wednesday (orange Wednesday).

    Hiya pap,

Last week I budgeted £15 and incredibly I only spent £1.90:eek: - don't know how I did it?

This week I'll say £15 again.

Hi PaP, I'd love to join in this week if that's ok. I would like to go for £21 for this weeks spends. As this is my first week, I am going to count all unnecessary spends, phone credit and leisure activities. Thanks, rb x :A
Well I spent a total of £6.30 / £21, so can I be turned green please? This week, can you put me down for £10? Thank you! xx
