I have a monitor with a native 1280x1024 resolution which gives the sharpest image. The only problem I have is the text size in firefox is a little on the small side which means I usually go to View>Text Size>Increase each time to bring it to a more comfortable level.
There must be a way of defaulting to the larger size but I cant find it in the options. I've tried increasing the size in Tools>Options>Content>Default Font but this doesnt seem to actually have an effect on what I see on the screen!

If you're using FF2, there's a handy little extension called NoSquint. It's not currently compatible with FF3 betas... But in this case you can press Ctrl and + and Ctrl and - to increase or decrease the font size.
If you would like exceptionally good control over zoom, give Opera a try.te audire non possum. musa sapientum fixa est in aure.0
