I travel from birmingham to exeter quite often and they charge me £46.05 with a young persons railcard, unless i book in advance and get tied to silly travel times. Does this journey have any promotion code or does anyone know of a cheaper way round this?
By the way, travelling from birmingham to waverly for the beltane festival on 30th april is only £11.20 each way with a young persons rail card and not the £90 odd that they quote. I search through Virgin trains and it was quite easy. Well worth it!

Try split ticketing at Cheltenham and Bristol TM - it used to work but I don't know if it's still the case. Maybe even Taunton as well.
Saver to Cheltenham, cheap day singles each way to Bristol and saver to Exeter.0 -
