2 Supply numbers
Options
I started the online switch to E-on thru Uswitch and everything appeared to be going well until I received a letter from Scottish Power (current supplier) who informed me that as E on doesnt have all my supply numbers the switch has been cancelled.
E on have just called and said that they cant switch due to the 2 supply numbers and that only certain companies supply in this case.
Scottish power are ripping me off big style and I dunno what to do.
Any advice out there?

You can still switch to E.ON but there are very limited tariffs you can go on.
In this case price comparison sites aren't very helpful because they'll show you the cheapest tariffs but won't tell you whether customers with two supply numbers are eligible for that certain tariff.
The best thing to do would be to call the suppliers sales team directly, advise them you have two supply numbers and ask what tariffs you can go on. Then compare the unit prices against scottish power.0 -
Be very careful with this. You have Heatwise or E10 and many Suppliers still can't support them - however they can register them! Well done Ofgem.
Npower have a tariff for these meters but whilst it's there, they won't bill you on it as the tariff is not turned on. So, unless you want tons of problems I would try elsewhere first.
It is also wise to consider whether you need the meter. Could you replace it with E7 if it works out cheaper? E7 is a common tariff which all support which meakes switching easier. However, only go this route if it's cheaper than your current meter.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
