M.F.bleeding.I (MFI) - changed delivery date

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ! >:(

I know it's our own fault for dealing with these useless tw*ts again after a problem with them before but....

We ordered a wardrobe online on 8th October, paid and got an e-mail order confirmation and delivery date confirmation of tomorrow, Thursday 28th October.

Checked via their site last night to find out if it is an am or pm delivery and the b*ggers have now changed the delivery date by nearly a month to 23rd November without even telling us. This is NOT good enough. They never even sent us a letter or phoned us up >:(

I have booked tomorrow off to help build the darned thing round at my girlfriend's mums house and we've even cleared loads of space to build the bloody thing too..... now they aren't even delivering the thing for another month >:(

Can they do this please ?

I don't want to spend my 30 minute dinner break on the phone on some 0870 number.

The sad thing is we still want the wardrobe as it's the only one that'll fit in the space she has (plus I have one also and it's not bad for the price).

Anyone help please ASAP ?

I can check this again at dinnertime when I come home.

Thankyou,
Rochdale_Guy.

    Hi,

My sister ordered some bedroom furniture on 18th August from MFI. She has had some of it, the delivery dates/times have been re-arranged 4 times. She has one piece outstanding which 'should' be delivered tomorrow. After complaining she was asked 'would you like a refund!'. No apology, no consideration etc.

She has, after much complaining, managed to get a very small amount knocked off the cost. As they were very cheap to begin with she is ok about it. The good thing is she isnt working as she has 2 children under 2 but if she was working and had booked days off work she would be verrrrrrry annoyed as there has been very little notice of the change of appointments. >:(

I hope you get further than she did :)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...
