I am trying to find some cheap laptop memory but apart from ebay it seems really expensive.
I need 2 x 2gb DDR2 667 PC2-5300 200 pin sodimm
The cheapest I have found is £36 + £6 p+p on Ebay
I just wondered if anyone else knows of any cheaper places to buy from.

            Have a look at: www.crucial.com
Had a look for you, found: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT2KIT25664AC667
Not as cheap as you hoped, though...

There are some good genuine sellers on eBay, but just avoid the dodgy ones.
I've never had a problem using the UK based:
 http://stores.ebay.co.uk/blue-anteaters-memory-emporium
 He also gives good advice.
However for retail, you can't beat Crucial for support and stock, always excellent in my opinion, I've brought a lot of RAM from crucial.0

More Crucial ****! Only for the lazy or those with zero knowledge.0

Or for those wanting a superior service, faultless returns system, and when a chip dies it is replaced without question.
Crucial gets recommended a lot here, because they are an excellent company. Not the cheapest for RAM, but if you are a novice, or need the support and backup, they are hard to beat.0

            Oogli,
 I found this:
 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130435
Has the specifications you've asked for + a lifetime warranty. Ebuyer are good and I know a few people who've bought from them with no complaints. I think delivery will cost £4.99.
Much the same as the Crucial costs. I guess you won't find it a helluva lot cheaper unless you get it second hand.
 Hope this helps!

Much the same as other decent retailers, but more expensive.0
