Easyjet, sexists?

haha...i have thoroughly enjoyed myself trawling through this thread. I can't believe how personally people take some of the comments.:D
I suspect we need to wait for someone in the know to post on here and tell us the truth about seat allocation. Mind you, given that it's Easter they're probably stuck behind some Luton or EMA check in desk arguing with Nozzer as to why he's been there since 4am for a 4pm flight and only been allocated Boarding B :rotfl:
I'll sit next you nozzer, I'm flying out from there in two weeks....
mind you i have got two small kids with me so you might be better off with the 45 stone woman

Yeah..whatever :rolleyes:0 -
Yes, yes it would.
But then Easyjet / Ryanair wouldn't make money from discovering that people will pay real money just to stand in a different queue.
spot on teeb, and who can blame them for fleecing the travelling public, the last to board will get a seat thats almost identical to the rest of the 150 or so travellers without paying for it, no stress, no arguing, no oneupmanship, and less time in the seat
£9 for speedy boarding what a larf, thats a one way fare with ryanair
there are easyjet employees who post on here, i belive JETBOY is one, whats the truth about the conspiracy
easyjet whistleblowers please post0 -
come on Jetboy...where are you???"Sumptus censum ne superet"

Last time I travelled with easyjet I was in a group with 3 other males, and we were in the first batch of borders as we got there a bit early.
If they do put groups/families in the first batch, and single travellers in last batch then great - if your travelling on your own you're going to be sat with a stranger whether you get on 1st or last. It's far better to get those travelling in groups and with kids sat together wherever possible0 -
I flew Easyjet last month as a single male. Got there in plenty of time and was given an A section, so if it is in operation then it's new. Off to Prague soon so I'll be aware.
I also discovered the fastest way to get a spare seat next to me:
I was reading On Killing - The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War & Society - for some reason no-one wanted to sit next to me
No idea why not - it's an excellent book

No idea if the same is for easyjet, but...
About 5 years ago we were flying shorthaul across Australia visiting family. My younger brother has a life-threatening allergy to nuts, and unfortunatly suffered a reaction to some food that we brought onto the plane without fully checking the ingrediants (We assumed that the ingrediants in the australian version we had found of choc-dips had the same ingrediants as ours did, but they contained hazelnuts!) Once the flight crew were made aware of the situation we were moved to the 'spare' seats at the front of the plane that seem to be in dispute in this thread, and they had a curtain that extended across these seats for privacy - prehaps this is the reason?
