Lcd Hdtv Tv At Tesco For 2.97 - Seen In New Catalogue!!!

in It's gone, but was it any good?
ALL OUT THERE!!!

I was looking trough the new tesco catalogue and saw a Technika LCD26-207 26" HD Digital LCD TV for only 2.97 Pounds!!!!!!
But on the comparison page its 299.97!!!???


Here the question

Can i lawfully claim this TV at the store for 2.97?
If Yes, soon i will have a HDTV for 3 pounds :D

    no you can't its just an advert, its called an invitation to treat, tesco can refuse to sell it at that price

    No, you cannot claim the tv for 3 quid!! The price displayed is an invitation to treat and they do not have to sell it to you at that price

    Does not tesco have a "AND IF THINGS DONT ADD UP" slogan in there t&cs, in which case as long as you buy the tv in store they have to give you double the difference????

    Stores have already been made aware of the issue and aren't honouring the price. The catalogue does say that prices can vary from those advertised.

    moving slightly off the topic, has anyone ever bought a technika tv are they any good, as I was looking at one today but I don't know anyone who has one.

    We have a 20" LCD for DDs bedroom ... its okay..nothing special but good for the money ...
