What address is everyone using to access the site? The original one has the word "info" for me still. And the link on the last page says site not found.
    Thanks

Try hitting the Refresh button a few times. If that doesn't work clear your cache. In firefox this is done by choosing Clear Private data from the tools menu then unticking everything except Cache before hitting the Clear Private Data Now button.

Not sure about any other browser but I expect the process to be similar.

I havent had ANY acceptance or APPROVED emails, thats the point I was making before, I dont know which 7 you claim youve rejected.

I think that this is the problem, W:S Tech, that no emails are being received either accepting or rejecting the comments. May I ask if your new stats system will be replacing the old email rejection/acceptance system? (And please forgive me if you've already answered this question elsewhere in this thread).

If it is to be the case that you are swapping one system for another, then writers cannot know which comments are being rejected and why. Overall, this may cause a decline in the quality of comments, as writers will not know which areas of their writing needs improvement.

    You see the problem?

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

I am certain they mean copied from other people work, not copied from word.

You question does bring up another point. Several people have said they had comments rejected for being copied when they say the comments were all there own words.

I would like to know how Writer:Share determine if a comment is copied or not.

If they know it is copied then, in the email, they should say where they know the comment was copied from. If they've taken the trouble to search the Internet then it can't be much more work to include a link.

I'm not trying to get round the no copy rules, but I think if you have found proof a comment was copied then the least you can do is show the commenter this proof.

I believe everyone should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. If you have this proof then show it to the commenter, it will stop them posting on here that you rejected their comments because they were copied and them claiming it wasn't. It will also give the innocent a chance to dispute your proof they are guilty.

More importantly, it will give the commenter's a chance to see how reliable your procedure is, and help you improve it.

I believe that sites such as Writers:Share use software to check for plagiarism, geordie joe. Here's an example:

I could be wrong, of course. I often am. ;)

yep i can second that one def had no emails to suggest how many of mine has been accepted or rejected, might b helpful if the report listed your comment dates and showed you which ones are the ones accepted and rejected.

also would be handy which we are supposed to go by emails (ive had none since restarting) or stats (which say im owed £3?) to know how much we are gonna get paid. its better dont get me wrong its just flippin confusin!!
