Just received my payment, HOWEVER, paypal took 23p out of every £1 for their fees, which is ridiculous. I've emailed paypal and asked why they are taking such a huge chunk.0

My payment just came through as well. But nothing was taken off by PayPal. I hope this lasts - it seems to be quite a nice little earner. Will try to do more next week.
Have a good weekend everyone!

I have 2 paypal accounts (goodness knows why) and have had a payment into both - 1 had a fee deducted the other didn't. I have noticed the account that had the fees deducted is set as a 'Premier' account but the other account is a 'Personal' account. So need to find a way to change Premier account.
Don't know if the same applies to your account.0 -
I just checked my account and paypal took 34p on a £4 payment.
I haven't looked into paypal charges for years, last time I did they only charged if then payer used a credit card.
It's possible they haven't been paid by who ever they are passing the comments on to, so have had to use a credit card to pay us.0 -
Hubbie definitely hasn't been charged a fee - he has got the full £2 (but as above, the account type is personal not premier).0

How many times can you accept a payment from a credit card with a personal account before they bump you up to a premier account?0
