Mychild maths tuition

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=762155&highlight=mychild%2Btuition

This one, they rang on my mobile and said I had entered a comp from mychild for maths tuition and they asked me the ages of my kids......

I told them I didn't enter cause I haven't got any kids

That was the end of the convo.

Anyone else have that?

I had this a few weeks ago and I hadnt entered one of their comps as i keep a diary of what i enter....they asked me for my childrens ages and key stages they are at and before I knew it conned me into having a pack on approval..I wouldn't give them my card number and so the chap said nicely well just your account number will do as we wont draw anything until after 10 days and in the pack is a letter to cancel anything but there wasn't one in the pack when it came...We had a right game trying to find where to return it and no answer to my e-mails....Sent it to head address and kept receipt of posting ...Complete waste of time

Mum (Motherglove) had this the other day & warned me about it. She said he was quite pleasant though & when she said no thanks, he went.
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Hi all. They called this morning to talk about a prize draw for CD Rom's I'd entered, then asked the ages of my children, and when I told them they said 'they're too young for the CD Rom's then', told me the draw hadn't happened yet and rang off. Lucky escape by the sounds of it!
