We moved in on the 9th of september 07 and up to today we still haven't recieved an electric bill, main prob is a fault?..calls we have made are:

lots from the 9th onwards saying info will be sent out, i never recorded these a had no idea it would be so complicated

23rd of Oct- asked where info was AGAIN told sent...

28th-asked again where anything was, was told that their was now a fault and we had to wait 28 days for it to be logged? fault noticed on 13th of nov yet not told on previous calls..

About 2 weeks ago we had a call about an email i had sent (can check date) saying it was all done etc and to await a bill..

Since then we have had endless letters asking us to pay?? estimated bills, welcome to your home rubbish i have called with the right reading and nothing..

Today we get an extortionate bill and AGAIN it is estimated..i ring to do the reading and get the right bill, it's £57 for the first 2 months and £12 for the rest each month...ringing back i am not pleased with this and it's obviously wrong, have it redone and have to wait again 28 days.Aahhhhh

Just want to pay it and have been on the phone for over an hour, spoke to a very rude indian woman who just kept saying i needed to be slower as she couldn't understand feel like i have got no where AGAIN..

Among all this i have written complaints, rung and even emailed the MD...NOTHING...really want to tell them where to stick it but as we cant pay it we can't..

PLEASE any deatils of where i can complain..

Thankyou

My daughter moved into her new build house 11 months ago she has yet to receive a gas bill she has phoned them countless times , apparently the builders have failed to register the meter , she has been told if they havent billed her before 12 months are up they cannot bill her for that period?.......and shes just found out that hers and next door neighbours water bills have been muddled lol

    No that is not so!

They can only bill you for the previous 12 months.

So if she doesnt get a bill for another 4 months(so 15 months after she moved in) she will not have to pay for the first 3 months of her occupancy.

No bill for 2 years she gets the first year free - etc etc.

She needs to register the meter herself, woman across from us just got a bill for last 18 months. You ring Transco to do it, no. it's in the phone book, full page advert and they also tell you who your supplier is. The developers in our cul-de-sac have used 2 different suppliers. Transco will give her the Mpr no.(Meter point reference number).
