    Hi guys..newbie here!!

    I was claiming IB for 15 weeks and was invited to a pathways to work interview who advised me about the return to work credit aswell as shawtrust.I was desperate to get back to work and luckily i got the first job i applied for so signed off the sick..i earn less than 15k per year so claim the £40 credit for 52 weeks plus shawtrust gave me £200 job grant and all my uniform was paid for my the pathways to work people (up to £100) Happy days.

    I like the idea of the work credit scheme. However, I have been reading that there are a number of interview tat you have to go through throughout the time that you are claiming. How on earth can you get to these interviews if you would be working full time. A tthe very least, it would be extremly inconvenient.

    AFAIK you don't necessarily need to attend interviews, you just need to submit payslips to provide evidence that you are still working. This could be done by post if you were working full time and unable to attend interviews.
