I noticed that £89.99 had been DD from my bank account which I didn't recognise - I queried it, and it was firm a company called Digital Services Liverpool. I had taken a 1 year contract out with them 14 months ago, which I had decided not to renew. I paid a one off payment for one year.
In that year I have moved, and notified everyone ( so I thought) that needed to know. As far as I was concerned the satellite contract was for one year, as there is nothing on the form to say that they would automatically renew it - I have checked.
Apparently this company wrote to my old address and said that if I didn't want to renew to get back to them in 7 days. Obviously I didn't see the letter ( it was outside PO forwarding time), and they took the money from my account by default.
Even though I have spoken to them on the phone and written to them explaining the situation, they have refused point blank to give a refund.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks
Veronica

Yeah, as with all other DD problems, go to your bank and explain the situation and they'll refund the money. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
