in the current nottingham market I wouldn't bank you getting a sale within 12 weeks, it's very stagnant at the moment, so option 2 is the one I would go for depending of course on the value of the property for sale.

I see a few of their 'for sale' boards around, and their listings do appear on right move, but they are definitely one of the smaller estate agents in nottingham.
    It's a health benefit ...
  • Thank you! We're just gonna get some evaluations at the moment, but i realllllly don't want to spending lots of money on estate agent fees though, i'm looking at move and save aswell

0.95+VAT sounds high for a small agent. Large agents now charge 1%+VAT and this might be negotiable. Definitely do not pay in advance to a small agent. There have been quite a few disappear with clients money.
  • large agents charge 1%? Heres me thinking they charged 2 - 3% i'll have give them a ring aswell

I've just sold my house with Move & Save. They seem okay, and it's a flat fee of £230 with a Sale board.

We were recommended by a friend who sold theirs. It's a bit odd, as the viewers ring you direct once they've spoken to the office, which might put some viewers off a bit, but it worked for us in the end.

I would check they advertise in the right local paper though, as we were a bit out of their patch so we were only on Rightmove effectively!

Certainly can't argue with the price!
