Can you link ONE paypal account to TWO websites?

Hi,
We have a few websites all with their own paypal accounts (other payment options available also), each paypal account had to have its own bank account linked to it which had to be a new account not linked to a previous paypal account - due to this we had to open a couple more business bank accounts, one for each paypal account. As you can imagine it is confusing logging in and out of each one and making sure nothing is missed etc, and now coupled with the fact our free banking ends next month we were looking into something thats less hassle, easier to manage and a little less heavy on the wallet.

We recently heard on mse (cant find thread now) that you can have several websites all paying into the same paypal account - is this correct? If so can paypal return you back to the relevant website or does it take you back to one main one?

We have a merchant account linked to our main website but they say to add this to other websites would mean creating a new merchant id for each one with more minimum monthly fee charges for each, so we really need to keep paypal as its the lesser of two evils.

Any help would be appreciated as the paypal website does not make it too clear.

You can have 7 or 8 email accounts on paypal so I suppose you could have the same number of website checkouts. I have 3 ebay accounts and 1 website linked to my only paypal account.

Yes you can have it.

There are two ways.

1. Have a new email added to same Paypal, then you can track in your only PayPal account where the payment was send i.e. website1@yourcompany
(Like steviebabes said)

2. Just put same paypal account in all websites i.e billing@yourcompany
This way you will have to make sure item id / names are identifiable i.e.
web1-0001 if you want to track it.

Multiple paypals only required if you wish not to reveal it is same company behind all websites.
