Oh well at least i cant spend it early then be skint next week,
Exactly what I was thinking, one day late shouldn't break the bank in most cases. Help people budget a bit better, amount I know who blow early payments then end up broke.....silly really....it's only one dayOne day I might be more organised...........

I am just home from work and have had people calling up about payments not going in today.
If there has been any changes made to your claim in the last week your payment, if due today, probably wont be made until Tuesday. It wasnt possible to get them out any earlier due to Friday & Monday being bank holidays. The payments were released to the banks yesterday so there is a slight chance that it may appear in the account on Saturday/Sunday/Monday. If it isnt in by Tuesday then there must be some other problem.0 -
mine is due tuesday will i get it early at all?????

usually it's only payments due on the bank holidays which will be effected, Tuesday isn't a bank holiday so don't think it will changesilkysmooth69 wrote: »mine is due tuesday will i get it early at all?????

Again different parts of the UK have different Easter Bank Holidays. N Ireland have Monday and Tuesday as the bank holidays and other parts of the UK have Friday and Monday as the holidays. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I normally get my tax credits on a Friday and they've not gone in this week. I'm with A&L so don't know if there's a problem. I telephoned tax credits and they confirmed that its definitely been paid.0

According to this list Tuesday is not a bank holiday, this is what I've taken information from. I have a friend in NIreland and she said she was unaware of a bank holiday on Tuesday? An extra day off she didn't know about maybe as she works in a bank.
GirlRacer, to be honest I wish in a way they would get rid of all bank holidays, just confuses everything. Hope you get it sorted, might be worth checking tomorrow to see if it's gone in.One day I might be more organised...........
