Granite Worktops for kitchen

My wife has finally bullied me into having the kitchen refitted (major project - wall out between kitchen and dining room, island in the middle, utility room refit etc). Project is well underway and just about to order the units. Now she tells me that she wants granite worktops too!!!

Being already on the way to loosing one arm and one leg to pay for the thing, I could do with some recommendations for good quality suppliers who are reasonable on the pocket too.

We live in Leicestershire and will need templating and fitting so I think it would be logical to suggest firms in Scotland / Wales might not be practical.

I've seen people on here saying they were very happy with the following company:
    http://www.diapol.co.uk/default.asp

Now I've never used them but I did a quick calculation on their site and their prices seem quite good. Do a search on this forum for the company name and you should be able to find people who have used them.

I had some granite worktops fitted in January by Diapol. Very nice job, they spent a lot of time templating and came back approx 2 weeks later to fit. I would use them again, we are very happy with their work.

My granite cost the grand total of 250 quid - check out ebay. Was very very heavy though and took 3 of us to lift it into place.

We used diapol. It took three weeks from our first phone call to fitting. Quick, friendly, efficient, good value and it looks super. All boxes ticked!

There was nearly a wine cooler in between those two racks but I couldn't find one to fit both the space and the budget!

It's mine! Here's a before shot - the bricked up doorway is where the unit with the wine racks is now. The rest of the kitchen is through that open section of the original building.
