Well done! I was pushed into midwifery by my careers officer at school who took no notice of my 'can't stand blood, can't stand children' rant at him. 2 weeks later I got through loads of stuff on.......................MIDWIFERY! Needless to say, I've done nothing like that, despite his best efforts! :p

Anyhoo, go for it. Only live once and all that. :T

Careers officers do seem to be a bit like that.

I seem to remember a mention of "Army"...

I'm flattered that you'd all want me as your midwife, not running scared!

Snaggles, you have news for us? ;)

So... a little update... I've been doing my training for 3 months now and I'm loving it! It's hard work of course but I've finally found the right thing for me and it feels great :)

The money, however, is not good at all! I'm managing to keep out of debt (just) but only thanks to the self control I learnt as a dfw, multiplied a few times! If only I could have lived like this back then, my debt would have been gone in half the time :o

And as for this place, I think of you guys often actually. Heaven knows why I'm not here regularly any more, perhaps I will get back into it, but I'm not making any promises!

Any updates or news that I positively have to know before functioning on dfw again?! ;)

    Kath x
