Commuting costs from Bolton to Manchester

Looking to take a job in Manchester but will want to get the train each day. Anyone know what costs I'm looking at?

Call Northern Rail and ask the cost of a weekly, monthly and annual season ticket. It will be much cheaper than daily returns.

If the two places are under the same public transport company, it may be possible to buy a bus and train pass that can be used for all travel within that district.
