I think the phrase is misleading and should be changed as that sentence is the reason I thought that I did not qualify for help with childcare.

"no qualifying children in childcare" to me means my child does not qualify for childcare. Although I may be confused about the system I am not actually stupid. The sentence itself "no qualifying children in childcare" is not clear because my child did qualify for childcare help.

it means they dont know shes in childcare. how are they supposed to know that shes in childcare and its not your mum looking after your child?

just be grateful you get help now and let the matter rest. i missed out on 4 months child benefit b/c of the 3 month back-date rule and i dont bleat on about it BECAUSE I KNOW ITS MY RESPONSIBILITY.
