TV remote

We've been given a generic (extra large) remote control which was bought from home bargins. The only problem is I don't have any programing instructions or codes for it.
Can anybody help me????

I'll try and upload a picture of it if it helps

cheers in advance

Manufacturers name and model name/number would probably help more than a photo. You may find this inside the battery compartment if there's nothing on the outside.

Failing that I'd send it back for a refund as it's obviously not fit for purpose if you can't program it.

Try putting the make and model into Google and see what comes back?

I cant take it back as it was a present from my M.I.L. for my daughter and the M.I.L. has binned the packaging etc (including the instructions is my guess, although she denies this).
As for manufacturers/model details there's nothing to be seen anywhere inside or out. I've even had it apart to see if there's anything on the PCB, but there isn't.....

it's probably not much use then I'm afraid.
you need some reference to be able to look up codes, unless you pop a piccy up and somebody has the same one and happens to see it....
I'd recommend finding a forum for that kinda thing more specific than this sub forum here, and putting a pic on there. you never know your luck
