Funding for nursery places - how will this affect tax credits?

Hi everyone
Have been told that my daughter qualifies for funding for her nursery place from next term. It works out to half the time she is there which would knock the fees down from £684 to £342 a month. I still need to check with the nursery that I only need to pay them the £342 but do I then need to tell the tax credit people that this is all I actually pay?
Thanks for any advice!

Yes you need to tell them, call them up a week before the costs change to advise them. If you claim more than you actually pay you are commiting fraud and I am assuming thats not what you want!!
Work out the weekly amount as this is what Tax Credit Office works with.0
