I need a PDF converter to change a large (~200 pages with lots of pictures)word document into a PDF. I would prefere to do it for free, but there seems to be quite a choice out there. Any recommendations would be gratefully received. I would prefer one that didn't add a watermark because it's my thesis.
Thanks
Thanks

I'm going to try Open office on someone elses recommendation, but I'll keep PDF creator in mind if it can't deal with all the pictures and things.

I used open-office to make up my Master's project report, and convert it to PDF. Works a treat.
One thing I would say is !proof-read! I remember having a bit of trouble with formula layouts / non-english character formatting, but it was relatively minor.Russia is HERE0 -

Thankfully I don't have that many equations or special characters, just micro and degree signs. Thanks for letting me know about your experience with it, it'll be helpful, shame it's taking so long to download though, I think the internet connection is on a go slow.MFW #66 - £4800 target0 -

I think that's where PDF Creator and Stompa's PRIMOPDF ones are better, as these 2 are printer drivers rather than a convertor; So it just takes what it's sent and converts without any problems. You just do a File Print and select the PDF printer.A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
If it's Word 2007 you can simply save as a pdf with the free add on. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4D951911-3E7E-4AE6-B059-A2E79ED87041&displaylang=en"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I've used CutePDF Writer and been impressed. It is also a printer driver so you just choose to print your document (be it Word, Excel, Visio, etc) and then select CutePDF Writer as your printer. It then asks where you want to save it. Voila.
