Cheers for that JCS1:),You don't take away the £100 (there has to be £100 p/m surplus before an IPA can be imposed), so would be £700 * 70% which would be £490.
I had misinterpreted the surplus:rolleyes:
Thanks
Edit: Sorry bout that jono:doh:0 -

Hi TigerFeet,
I have a Barclays basic card account, I have spoken to the CCCs today regarding my situation and they have advised BR as the best course of action and have told me exactly what and when i need to do things. I have one other IP company via CAB ringing me in about 15 mins so will decide once have heard there side of the story etc.
The CCCS have told me that the basic barclays account will be frozen on day of BR but that the OR will write to them to unfreeze as both Barclays and the Co-op are happy to offer basic accounts to customers who have been made bankrupt etc. As there is no risk to them from credit then they dont need to worry about the account holder.
As i have the basic account already i should/could be able to hold on to the same account without closing and re-opening with them again. This is great news for me as i only set this account up last year after speaking with the CAB.
I will post further updates on my thread regarding my decisions i have made today regarding what i am doing next.
