she was pleased i could provide details of other accounts i had with other banks.
today was productive as before that , i went to the coinstar machine in sainsbury's with a collection 0f 5p 2p and 1p that i have had for years.
now £56 better off.
went to the CAB but it was closed..
tbh dont know why i went coz u guys havE answered all my questions..
sooooooo provided i can pulll enough money out of bank tomorrow after settleing my mobile phone bill and my car payment ( as i really want to try and keep this ) ill be BR on march 31st.....
quick question please..
if they say i cant keep car even paying payments out of my outgoings , do the have to give me money for a cheaper one ?

Hi Jono,
No they don't have to give you an allowance for a car, as I asked my OR the same question.
I would definitely recommend getting that appointment with the CAB though Jono. They will check that everything is AOK, and answer any further questions you may have. Also, you'll be totally sorted and ready for the big day, nothing wrong with extra back-up.
:D

thanks...!!
if the make me sell the car how am i supposed to get to work ?
it would cost me £20 per day on public trsnsport and i need to be in for 7 oclock .
one little niggle is if IVA might be better though CAB last week said BR.
I try ccc last night but tbh wasnt that impressed..
he seemed to think it was salvagable even though my totsl debt payments pm are 1200 and that is before i pay out for snything else ..
yes i might be sble to do iva but i dont want to live like a pauper for years ...0 -
Hi Jono:),
It's obviously up to you on the BR front, I did see last night or this morning that you'd have £700 disposable, and I did wonder whether BR is the right move for you? Thats not saying don't do it!!:).
But if you were tied into an IPA for 3 years and your SAO is at it's 'best' (for you) that would be £25,200 over 3 years! That maybe why CCCS suggested an IVA, and another reason why it might be good to have face to face with the CAB.
I have other ideas but I'm in new territory here, and certainly don't want to give you the wrong advice, so I'll will bump this up to see what the others think??
** There may be special circumstances for your car, again we'll see what the others think?
Edit: Have you posted your SOA as was on your on-line BR application? I will have alook...0 -
Hello again jono:),
Could you post your SOA so everybody can have a look at it and see how things stand?:D

£ 50.00 Provide

these

bit below was put in the extra section , i have put the car down coz i want to keep it and will willingly pay it myself.

can the take ALL my £700 surplas ?
tbh i have been paying over £900 pm for all my debts not inc the car !! for the past year or so , so anything less then that is a bonus !!!
according to the chart if u have 600 quid free they will take £440
so 700 surplas cant be any more then £500 can it ?
if it is 500 ill take it cos its better then i have got now !!!
and will leave me with £ 900 quid to play with total.

I believe you would pay £420 on £700, as they work it out after expenses, less a £100 'buffer' and then work it out from there.
So it would be £700-£100=£600 and at 70% would = £420 (which they would take).
Have you completed the BR doc's on-line, can you amend them? As you may have a liitle leway on some of the things? I would bang your rent up as I noticed someone mentioned on one of your posts?0 -
What percentage do those machines charge as we have tons of small change? does it give you hard cash back out or vouchers???today was productive as before that , i went to the coinstar machine in sainsbury's with a collection 0f 5p 2p and 1p that i have had for years.

Your cars on HP isn't it so technically still owned by the hp company untill your final payment, so the OR cant take it but i think they could instruct the HP company to cancel your agreement and take the car back. And no they dont have to give you any money for a car, the only time i believe they do that is if you own your vehicle and it has a high value on it, then they would take it, sell it and then give you £500 or so to get another car.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone
Well my 6 years are now up, now to start to rebuild my life again

rent is by DD and is shown on bank stamements as payment to mother..
i dont pay the water or electric, i just put it down and i could prob trim the houskeeping down as well
car is worth 3000 but i owe 5200 to hp company so i have read the OR may let people continue paying but out of there own bit..
i need a car and i will explain to them that the £500 car he expects me to get needs to be able to do 20000 miles a year ...0
